Perimenopause and menopause can affect far more than your period. Many women notice changes in weight, energy, sleep, mood, gut symptoms, joint pain, inflammation, cholesterol, blood sugar and confidence in their body.
At Accept Health, I support women through midlife with evidence-based nutrition, lifestyle and coaching strategies that are practical, realistic and tailored to your stage of life. Whether you are navigating early perimenopause, post-menopause, hormone therapy, changing health risks, or simply feeling like your body no longer responds the way it used to, you do not have to work it out alone.
My approach is not another diet! It combines dietetics. menopause coaching, inflammation support, behaviour change and realist habit building. I teach you to understand what is going on in your body, so you can learn to listen and make your own adjustments to feel better in your body

We are all different and some times some perimenopause and menopause can not be something that changes much, but for others it can make you feel like you don't even recognise yourself anymore

Weight gain that seems to come out of nowhere

Insulin resistance & changes in cholesterol levels

Loss of strenght and bone density (maybe a fracture)

Fatigue, sleep changes, mood changes, brain fog and forgetfulness

Nutrition won't fix all of this. Coaching won't fix all of this. But learning what is right for your body, getting some wins and feeling heard are all part of finding yourself again.
The role of nutrition isn't just about weight loss, we cover your protein requirements, fibre and gut health, blood sugar and insulin resistance, anti-inflammatory eating, Omega 3's, Vitamin D and calcium, iron and B12 (if relvent for you), how to eat to maitain and build muscle, weight management without fad dieting, and help you understand the role that alcohol, caffeine and sleep have for you.
I am not the food and lifestyle police. We work on what matters to you.
As an accredited practising dietitian and certified menopause coach, I provide practical, non-judgmental, realistic support for women who are overwhelmed or want to understand their bodies better.
I understand that it is difficult to access this support, particularly in rural areas or when you're juggling kids or aging parents.

Rural Women Rise - Mid Life Edition
Rural Women Rise - Midlife edition is launching soon, with the first face-to-face pilot starting in Coleambally in August.

It is a 6-week small-group program designed to support women through midlife (from early perimenopause to post menopause). If you have questions or symptoms or just want to understand your body better, it is time to RISE.
Rural women RISE is a dietitian-led program with expert guest content, with practical, evidence-based content and guidance in nutrition, movement, pelvic floor health, symptom management and much more.

Thanks to the generous support of the Murrumbidgee Community Grants Program and the Country Women’s Association – Coleambally Argoon Branch, the Coleambally pilot will be offered at a subsidised cost for local women.
