Rural Women RISE - Midlife Health Program

Finally understand what's changing in your body — and know exactly what to do about it.

Weight gain around your middle. Poor sleep. Brain fog. Low energy. Joint aches. Feeling overwhelmed by conflicting advice.

If you've found yourself wondering...

"Why doesn't my body respond the way it used to?"

...you're not imagining it.

During perimenopause and menopause, changing hormones can affect inflammation, muscle, metabolism, sleep, mood, gut health and long-term health risks. The strategies that worked in your 20s and 30s often stop working—not because you've failed, but because your body has changed.

RISE is a six-week evidence-based small-group program designed specifically to help rural women understand these changes and build practical habits that improve health, confidence and quality of life.

This isn't another restrictive diet or quick fix.

It's a practical roadmap for understanding your body and learning how to work with it—not against it.

✔ Evidence-based education translated into plain English

✔ Practical activities each week

Our approach

Rather than focusing on quick fixes, we focus on the foundations that have the greatest impact on long-term health.

Together we'll explore:

  • Understanding perimenopause and menopause

  • Nutrition to support energy, inflammation and healthy ageing

  • Building muscle to protect metabolism and independence

  • Managing weight changes without restrictive dieting

  • Improving sleep and recovery

  • Gut health and hormones

  • Stress resilience and mindset

  • Pelvic floor health

  • Building sustainable habits that last

Every recommendation is grounded in current evidence and designed to work in real life—not just in theory.

What you'll walk away with

By the end of the program, you'll have:

✔ A better understanding of what's happening inside your body

✔ Confidence to make informed health decisions

✔ A personalised plan that suits your lifestyle

✔ Practical nutrition and movement strategies

✔ Greater confidence discussing menopause with your GP and other health professionals

✔ Skills to reduce inflammation and support healthy ageing

✔ A toolkit you can continue using for years to come

Because the goal isn't simply getting through menopause.

It's building the healthiest decades of your life.

Meet Amanda - The Program Lead

I'm Amanda Mannes, an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Certified Menopause Coaching Specialist and Wellness Coach with more than 20 years of clinical experience.

Throughout my career I've worked with women experiencing chronic disease, inflammation, digestive disorders and complex health conditions. What became increasingly clear was how many women were struggling through perimenopause without understanding why their bodies had changed.

RISE combines my experience in nutrition, inflammation, behaviour change and women's health into a practical program that helps women replace confusion with confidence.

My goal isn't to overwhelm you with information.

It's to help you understand your body well enough to make meaningful changes that last.
